Clariant.com - Website & Intranet

Relaunch of the swiss company Clariant, a global leader in the specialist chemicals field. This was a recent project I worked on with the good folks at Mutabor Design in Hamburg. I was responsible for the redesign of the Clariant corporate website, business unit websites, intranet and online styleguide. A great project to work on.

I worked closely with Mutabor Team White who developed the new corporate identity. The websites utilised a modular system of design elements which could be combined together to create websites for each business units particular purpose.

Adidas Specialty Sports - E-Commerce

The Adidas specialty sports site offers a one-stop-shopping experience for a wide range of sporting needs. Its special focus is its speciality sports range concentrating on Weightlifting, Rugby, Cricket, Cycling,  Swimming and Wrestling.

This was a project I worked on with Razorfish Berlin.

Montblanc.com - Mobile & Tablet

At AKQA I designed the mobile & tablet version of www.montblanc.com. The site is completely optimized for mobile devices, allowing users to browse the collections, locate Montblanc boutiques, explore the history of the company, search for products & contact Montblanc directly.

Mercedes-Benz. Die neue A-Klasse Website

The 2012 Euro Championship Web Special for the new Mercedes A-Class. The A-Class web special utilised a parallax form of scrolling navigation. Mixing together animated vector graphics and video statements from the German Nationalmannschaft users could explore making-of films and watch the new TV spot. The Hub was created with the team at Jung von Matt / Hamburg. All things relating to the launch of the new A-Class were featured on the site.

Der neue Lexus IS Microsite

Integrated Campaign Microsite for the new Lexus IS which was presented inside a rotating 3D diamond. 

Design highlights of the car were projected onto the inside of the rotating diamonds surface. The section 'Lexus IS in motion' could be viewed from 6 different camera angles & could be viewed with 3D glasses (which were an integral part of the customer mailing). Specially commissioned sound design was created for each section of the site.

Creative Review Photography Annual 2012

I was extremely honoured to have 3 images from my personal project 'Muay Thai, Tonight' featured in the 2012 Annual. The Creative Review Photography Annual is a showcase of the years finest work in commercial photography. The launch party was held at The Printspace gallery in London's east end and was attended by all featured photographers and special guests. The project 'Muay Thai, Tonight' was shot on location in Thailand on the island of Koh Lanta. The work is selected by an independent jury of leading figures from the Design industry.

Mercedes-Benz - QR-Trophy Mobile App

The QR-Trophy mobile app created for the 2012 launch of the new A-Class. Before the market launch we created an app and website to generate excitement and media buzz to draw attention to the new car. We turned the secret prototypes into a form of advertising media by plastering the vehicles with QR codes. Users could hunt down the cars and scan the codes to collect points and badges.

The first person to collect all QR-Trophy badges could win a trip to the A-Class premiere in Geneva. The QR-Codes could be scanned from cars on the street, in the press or on the web. An animated film explaining the QR-Trophy concept was created for the landing page.

Heine E-Commerce

Complete redesign of Heine E-Commerce platform: 40,000 products of Fashion & Living. The homepage innovation featured the 'Outfit of the Week'. Users could select colour & product size and place them directly into the shopping basket straight from the home page. New arrivals from the worlds of fashion & living were featured each week on the homepage. The 'Highlight of the Week' lightbox could be accessed at the bottom of the homepage and featured all past highlights

Online Training platform for Volkswagen employees. Video, facts & images were combined to create a learning experience that increases the knowledge of the Volkswagen sales force. Playlful interactive elements enhanced the learning process. A flexible template allowed the learning tool to be used across the entire range of Volkswagen products.

Sinner Schrader Project Film Cases

For the new agency website for SinnerSchrader I created project showcase films for the brands Mirapodo and TUI. Agency employee statements & motion design were used to tell the story of the websites & their success. For Mirapodo, animated information graphics helped to explain a complex selling tool from the website. Three employee statements were filmed for each project case.

Specially commissioned sound design was used for each film and the off-voice was recorded in both German & English. The project showcase for TUIfly.com used animated typography to underscore the facts & figures from TUI's travel platform.

DHL Discover Logistics Infographics

DHL invites you to experience the dynamic industry of Logistics.

The Logbook: an interactive logistics compendium. The Logbook is a comprehensive interactive repository of facts, features and case studies from the logistics industry. You can also gain an insight into the lives of young DHL managers by immersing yourself in their video testimonials. I was responsible for the detailed Information Graphics throughout the site that help to explain the complexities of DHL's operations.
